The State Auxiliary is proposing to amend the By-Laws for Article VI (6) paragraph 2 as follows;

Members may purchase a lifetime membership for the annual fee times ten (10) when their spouse has thirty (30) years of service in the Utah State Firemen's Association. If service is not yet at the thirty (30) year requirement, a cost of the annual fee for each year, up to thirty (30) years, may be purchased.

EXAMPLE: If a spouse has twenty-five (25) years service, it would cost thirty-five (35) dollars to "BUY UP"to the thirty (30) years plus seventy (70) dollars for a total of one-hundred-five (105) dollars.

Cathy Harrison shares news from Spanish Fork!
She writes -

Spanish Fork and Salem auxiliaries have joined together and have been very busy! To date they have made over 40 quilts and with help from the community, have raised money from a yard sale. Also, Young Womens groups have donated hygiene kits and "I Spy" bottles along with 100 "Toys for Joy" toys from a high priest group. All this combined with proceeds from their upcoming raffle at convention to be donated to the burn center and burn camp. WOW! Way to go! They also are excited to see and visit with everyone at convention!
